Insta-Stop

What it does

Insta-Stop fires a stop input before you shoot off the dribble. In Auto it does so on its own; in Left-Trigger mode it only fires while L2/LT is held.

Insta-stop shots make the Button Rhythm sweep run about 10% faster.

It can cancel fades

The stop input can cancel a fade animation. Three fixes:

• Turn Insta-Stop off when you are running fades.
• Use Left-Trigger mode so it only fires while L2/LT is held.
• Hold the stick in the fade direction through the animation.
